a) Power Transformer Maintenance and Tests

• Power Factor Test %PF (DF, tan delta)

 

This test gives information about insulation defects in transformer winding and oil. AC is applied by applying high voltage.

• Transformer excitation current test (Magnetizing current measurement)

 This test provides information on core windings and winding deformation.

• Turn Rate Test

 This test provides information about the short circuit in the winding of the transformer, whether there is a jump or not.

• Winding Resistance MeasurementThis test provides information about transformer winding, tap changer switch contacts under load, looseness at connection points, etc. DC Insulation Resistance Test Provides information about insulation defects in transformer winding and oil. • Bushing Tests HV,

• Load Tap Changer mechanical and electrical maintenance and tests
