Railway Catenary System

The rail power supply system is the overhead line system used to transport the energies substations required for the operation of trains with different transportation arrangements. The train receives energy from the catenary via the pantograph. current completes the cycle through the rails and return cables. To begin with, electric rail needs a power source that trains can access at all times. It should be safe, economical and user friendly. Can use DC (direct current) or AC (alternating available), first, for many years, simpler for rail traction purposes, second, better over long distances and cheaper to install but until recently more complex to control at train level.
